Shady Childers, CMA
Clinic Manager / Clinic Nurse
Shady Childers brings more than 22 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant to Advanced Kidney Care, where she also serves as Clinic Manager. Originally from Southwest Iowa, she attended Iowa Western Community College and completed her internship in pediatrics before beginning a career that has spanned OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, and Nephrology.
​
Known for going above and beyond for her patients, Shady takes pride in her career and embraces new challenges. She is a member of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) and has also earned certification as a medication aide. In her leadership role, she is dedicated to supporting both patients and staff while ensuring the clinic runs smoothly.
​
Outside of work, Shady enjoys a full and active family life with her husband, three daughters, and their dog. She loves attending her girls’ activities, coaching varsity basketball cheerleading, traveling, spending time outdoors, and even chasing the thrill of roller coasters.
Nikki Stock, MA
Clinic Nurse
Nikki Stock is a Medical Assistant at Advanced Kidney Care. Originally from the Council Bluffs and Treynor, Iowa, area, Nikki earned her associate degree in medical assisting from Southeastern College.

Nikki enjoys the hands-on side of patient care and being there for people when they need it most. She wants every patient she works with to feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. One of her favorite things about Advanced Kidney Care is being part of a small practice where she gets to work alongside a great team that truly cares about its patients.
​
Outside of work, Nikki loves cooking and spending time with her family. She and her husband are proud parents of six children and are now enjoying life as empty nesters, along with their Rottweiler puppy, Hilde. And one thing you'll quickly learn about Nikki? Pink is her signature color!
Stephanie Stogdill, LPN
Clinic Nurse
Stephanie Stogdill is a Licensed Practical Nurse at Advanced Kidney Care. Originally from Council Bluffs, Iowa, Stephanie completed her nursing education at Nebraska College of Business & Nursing.

Stephanie enjoys meeting new people and helping patients maintain their health and quality of life. She wants every patient she works with to feel comfortable, heard, and respected. For Stephanie, one of the most rewarding parts of nursing is simply being able to help others and make a difference in their care.
​
Outside of work, Stephanie loves spending time with her grandkids, taking little trips whenever she gets the chance, and relaxing with a good book. She's also a fan of the Nebraska Huskers and Kansas City Chiefs!

Shayla Ruckman, CNA
Medical Receptionist
Shayla Ruckman is a Medical Receptionist at Advanced Kidney Care. Originally from Underwood, Iowa, Shayla has a background in healthcare, with certifications in nursing assistance (CNA) and phlebotomy.
​
One of Shayla's favorite parts of working in healthcare is getting to know patients and seeing them work through challenges and make progress in their health. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and wants everyone who walks through the door to feel heard and cared for.
​
Outside of work, Shayla enjoys spending time with her family and going to the gym. She's also a San Francisco 49ers fan, but mostly because of Iowa native George Kittle!
Kelsie Skow
Medical Receptionist
Kelsie Skow brings nearly 10 years of healthcare experience to her role as a Medical Receptionist at Advanced Kidney Care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Iowa and is certified in CPR and First Aid.

Kelsie is passionate about providing quality care and treating patients with the same respect and compassion she would want for herself. She values the importance of making each patient feel seen and cared for, rather than just a number.
​
Outside of work, Kelsie enjoys spending her free time hiking, reading, gardening, baking, and being with her family.
Sally Welch, CNA
Medical Receptionist
Sally Welch is a Medical Receptionist at Advanced Kidney Care. Originally from Council Bluffs, Iowa, Sally completed her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training at Iowa Western Community College.
​
Sally enjoys meeting new people and helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. She likes getting to know the patients who visit the office and being someone they can turn to when they need assistance. One of her favorite things about working at Advanced Kidney Care is the family-like atmosphere, which makes it a welcoming place for both patients and staff.
​
Outside of work, Sally loves spending time with her husband and daughters, getting together with friends, and shopping. She's also a big Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoys watching football whenever she gets the chance!
